In the unlikely event that we need to cancel Lightopia Festival at Crystal Palace Park, you can transfer your ticket to a different date or receive a refund.

Under any other circumstances Lightopia Festival tickets are non refundable.

If you would like to change the date you are attending Lightopia, please email us at info@lightopiafestival.com at least 7 days before your event. We cannot change your tickets the week of your event. We are only able to offer one date change on your tickets - you cannot change your ticket dates multiple times, please be certain of your plans if you request a date change.

To avoid disappointment please book your tickets in advance - popular dates sell out fast. Tickets can be bought on the day at the venue for an extra £2 per ticket IF they haven't already sold out.

A disabled person purchasing a ticket may bring one essential carer companion free of charge. Please purchase a ticket for the disabled person first and then fill in this form a minimum of 3 working days prior to the date you wish to visit (however we do aim to get back to you within 24 hours). You do not need to purchase a ticket for the essential carer. Each application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Upon completing your ticket purchase, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Your ticket(s) will be sent to you via e-mail to the e-mail address used to complete your purchase closer to the time of the event. If you have purchased a parking ticket this will be sent over in an e-mail.

If you have are having issues locating your confirmation e-mail, please check your junk folder.

If you have not received your tickets – please check your junk mail. You can use our contact us page if you cannot find your tickets, please make sure to include as much information as possible, such as the Order Number, Name & Email Address used to book the tickets.

You will be able to buy tickets at our Box Office on the day IF the event is not sold out for an extra £2 per ticket.

Lightopia Festival is easily accessible via a number of different public transportation methods including Rail, London Overground and Bus. We also have a very limited number of pre-bookable parking spaces available including free Blue Badge parking. 

As parking is very limited, we are highly encouraging our guests to use public transport to travel to Lightopia Festival. Crystal Palace Park is very well connected and together, we can do our bit for the environment.

Rail and London Overground

Crystal Palace Park is well served by rail and London Overground, with services running into the following the stations:

– Crystal Palace (London Overground or Southern) - 0.3 miles to Lightopia Entrance.

– Penge West (London Overground or Southern) - 0.9 miles from to Lightopia Entrance.

– Anerly (London Overground or Southern) - 0.9 miles to Lightopia Entrance.

– Gipsy Hill (Southern) - 0.9 miles to Lightopia Entrance.

– Penge East (Southeastern) - 1.1 miles to Lightopia Entrance.

– Sydenham (London Overground or Southern) - 1.6 miles to Lightopia entrance.

Remember you must have a valid ticket or oyster card to travel on the London Underground or Rail Services.

Car

We have a limited number of car parks on site that are available for customers. 

Car parking tickets will be available to purchase online and onsite unless sold out in advance. If you are driving it is highly recommended that you purchase your car parking ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.

Free disabled parking is available for Blue Badge holders. Please apply for your ticket in advance via this form


The time outlined on your parking pass ticket is the time slot that you have to arrive and park. Once your vehicle is parked, you can stay as long as you need to and your car can remain parked until you leave.

Lightopia is wheelchair accessible. Disabled parking is available at both car parks. If you are a blue badge holder you do not need to purchase a car parking ticket, please present your blue badge upon entry to the car park.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed to join your journey. Assistance dogs are allowed.

On average people spent 1.5 hours at the event in 2020, however depending on your walking pace and whether or not you choose to partake in other activities on-site including food, drinks, rides, this time period may be shorter or longer. The walking route is approximately 1.5 miles long and there are some gentle hills - please note we do not hire out wheelchairs at event.
